Foran’s Grand Trunk, in downtown Detroit, is celebrating the official first day of the summer with a new line up of new Dark Horse Brews on draft. Starting at 5 pm on June 20th, Michigan-style Crooked Tree I.P.A., Raspberry Ale, Plead the 5th Imperial Stout, The Rod and a variety of other brews will be on draft at Grand Trunk. Summer Beer Fest Benefiting Camps Casey is coming to the Royal Oak Farmers Market this Saturday night in efforts to put your drinking skills to good use. So raise your glass while raising funds for local kids with cancer. Sample nearly 100 delicious brews, enjoy beer-inspired cuisine, music and more. Click for tickets.
Take it to the River…
Starting this Friday, the Detroit Riverfront will be hosting the annual River Days Festival! The three day festivities will include carnival rides, food, activities for all ages – and even for your furry friends (check out Sunday’s Pooch-a-Palooza), sand sculptures, musical performances, models of ships and boat tours!
