The Motor City has been abuzz for the last two weekends, starting with the beats of Movement Festival, and quickly followed by the roar and races of the Grand Prix. But the fun of summer is just beginning, so check out this week’s Buzz and get ready for many more weekends of excitement to come.

The group focuses on getting…you guessed it…young professionals, together and engaged in events, activities and networking opportunities throughout the city. Fossils in Detroit
Ok, well they may not be the kind of fossils you’d find at the Science Museum, but they are the kind that you’d be happy to sport on your wrist. The founder of Fossil Inc has leased space in New Center’s Argonaut Building at CCS as their new location for the company’s manufacturing of watches and bicycles. Not a bad new thing to stamp as “Made in Detroit”!
El Guapo Finds a New Home
Good thing the El Guapo Food Truck is on wheels, because the redevelopment for the incoming Buffalo Wild Wings, set to grace the corner of Randolph and Monroe, has them calling a new corner their home – right at Campus Martius and Cadillac Square. Hey, better for us…that’s one less block to walk from the downtown area to get our favorite Korean Short Rib BBQ Tacos!

Detroit Harmonie is launching a new dinner series, starting Thursday, June 28th. Each month, they will feature cuisine from various parts of the world, combining amazing cuisine with the amazing Detroit community to make for a great dinner and conversation. So bring your friends, make new ones and enjoy delicious foods. This month the cuisine will represent the Caribbean Islands. So for $20 enjoy a three-course meal and remember to BYOB.
